Who We Are

Helping Hands in NIST managed by a dedicated team of NSS volunteers who has an interest in helping people with less fortunate circumstances to better their lives. We are a non-denominational group, supported by Ambati Shesha Reddy and Jaya Lakshumma Educational Trust, India, who are committed to provide educational Child opportunities and to promote well being to children in India.

What We Do

At NIST Helping Hands, Help is our middle name.

NIST is an organization built on giving: Students give their time and basic engineering knowledge to help communities in need.

Professional engineers donate their time and unique experiences to produce something that will truly affect a developing community.

There are many people who want to help, but there is often a limited amount of money . By donating you will not only be improving the quality of life in a developing community, but you will also be providing a student with an invaluable experience to teach, to learn and to develop as a responsible adult.

“Without donors like you, none of our projects would be possible”
